Each winning symbol Pops and is replaced by 2 symbols increasing the reel height. Wins continue to Pop as long as new wins occur. The reels can expand to 6 symbols tall in the Base Game and up to 8 symbols tall in Free Spins.

Base Game Multiplier

When all reels are fully increased to 6 symbols high in the Base Game, a Multiplier count-up starts. Each winning pop-round after the unlock increases the Multiplier by 1 and triggers Free Spins after the wins are paid. The Base Game Multiplier applies to wins during the Free Spins Bonus Wheel and is transferred to the Bonus Round.

Free Spin Bonus Wheel

When entering the Free Spin Bonus Wheel from Base Game, you are awarded guaranteed 5 Free Spins. Spin the Wheel for a chance for more Free Spins – winning spin gives you more spins; losing spin starts the Free Spins round immediately. You can spin the Bonus Wheel up to 2 times. Win one gamble, and the spins increase by up to 4, win another gamble, and the spins increase by up to 5.

Free Spins

Fully unlocking the reels to 6 symbols high in the Base Game triggers Free Spins. The reels start at 3 symbols high and can increase up to 8 symbols high. The progress of unlocking the reels in Free Spins doesn’t completely reset between spins but only reset down to the shortest reel height.

HippoPop Free Spins

Free Spins start with the final Multiplier carried over from Base Game, and each win increases it by 1. During the feature, Golden Hippo symbols pay more when the reels are taller. When all reels are 6, 7, or 8 symbols tall, Hippos pay out their base value for the rest of the round x2, x3, or x4, respectively. Fully unlocking the game awards you 2 additional Free Spins.

Buy Feature

You can also buy the Free Spins Mode for 85x the bet by pressing the ‘Bonus’ button. You then have an option to go straight into Free Spins or Gamble for a chance of winning more spins. Losing the gamble takes you back to the Base Game without playing Free Spins.
