If a Cursed Chest lands on the reels and results in a winning combination, it opens up to create a Cursed Area that extends from its position to the top of the reel. Once opened, the Cursed Chest reveals a Cursed Multiplier, which is applied to all winning paylines that include a symbol within the Cursed Area. If more than one Multiplier affects a payline, their values are added together before being applied to the win. The Cursed Multiplier can be 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, or 200x.

Sunken Treasure Bonus Game

Landing 3 Lantern Scatter symbols on the reels triggers the Sunken Treasure Bonus Game, awarding 10 Free Spins. During the Bonus, any Cursed Chests that land will always open up and create a Cursed Area that remains until the end of the feature. If a new Cursed Chest lands below a Cursed Area, the Cursed Area on that reel will expand. All Cursed Multipliers from opened Cursed Chests are tallied and added to a Total Multiplier above the reels, which applies to all Cursed Areas.

Any winning paylines that run through a Cursed Area will be multiplied by the Total Multiplier. Landing more Lantern symbols simultaneously during the feature will award additional Free Spins.

Landing 4 Lantern Scatter symbols trigger the Dead Men Tell No Tales Bonus Game. You are given 3 refilling lives, with each life equaling one Free Spin. The feature contains only non-winning symbols and special Skull and Kraken symbols. Above each reel is a Multiplier value that starts at 1x and can be progressively increased throughout the Bonus Game.

The Cursed Skull symbol – Reveals a Multiplier value that is added to the total Multiplier above the reel and creates a Cursed Area from its position to the top of the reel. A Cursed Area grows when a new Skull lands below it. Cursed Skull Multipliers can have values ranging from 1x to 500x.

The Tormented Skull symbol – Reveals a Multiplier value that multiplies the total Multiplier above the reel where it landed. Tormented Skulls Multipliers can have values ranging from x2 to x25.

The Kraken symbol – Reveals a Multiplier value that is added to the total Multiplier above ALL reels. Kraken Multipliers can have values ranging from 1x to 500x.

Whenever at least one of the special Skull or Kraken symbols lands, the refilling lives reset to 3. The feature ends when all lives are used and no new special symbols land in view. Then, the Multiplier value above the reel is added to all Cursed Area positions on the respective reels. The sum of all Multipliers in Cursed Areas is then multiplied by the bet, and the win is awarded.
