GIGANTOONZ SLOT REVIEW

The strange little creatures are back – except this time they are bigger than ever before! Gigantoonz is a Cluster Pays online slot from Play’n GO played with an 8×8 grid. The game is the latest installment of the Reactoonz Series featuring Mega Symbols, Random Wilds, Quantumeter with Modifiers, and Gargantoonz Wilds.

Symbols on the reels include 5 one-eyed creatures and 5 two-eyed creatures. There are 2 Wild symbols in the game – the Quantum Wild and the Gargantoonz Wild.

Cluster Wins

Wins are achieved with 6 or more matching symbols touching horizontally, and/or vertically. All winning symbols then disappear, and new symbols fall down to fill the gaps.

Mega Symbols

Each symbol can appear as Mega Symbol in 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, or 7×7 symbol size. When forming wins, the Mega Symbol counts as a single symbol, but its cluster value (randomised up to 13) is used when determining the payout of the winning cluster. Every winning Mega Symbol leaves a Wild on the grid. If a Mega Symbol cannot drop down, it fills up the space with its own 1×1 versions.

Quantum Wilds

On any non-winning round, between 5 to 10 Quantum Wilds may be randomly added to the grid. The added Wild symbols substitute for all paying symbols.

Gigantoonz Quantum Wilds

Quantumeter

Each winning symbol counts as one charge towards the Quantumeter. The exception are Mega Symbols that add their cluster values towards the meter. Quantumeter has 4 Charge Levels and holds up to 100 charges. Each level comes with its own Modifier:

• Disintegration (25 charges) – Removes all instances of 4 randomly selected symbols.
• Metamorphosis (50 charges) – Transforms one symbol type on the grid into a different symbol, including Mega Symbols.
• Radiation (75 charges) – Adds 1-4 Mega Symbols and 2-5 Quantum Wilds randomly on the grid.
• Gargantoonz (100 charges) – Plays out in 2 steps after wins are concluded. More on Gargantoonz below.

Gargantoonz Wild

When you fill the Quantumeter with 100 charges, the 3-eyed Gargantoonz Wild comes into play. As mentioned before, it plays out in 2 steps.

• Step 1 – All Mega Symbols on the grid turn into Mega Gargantoonz, and at least 3 Mega Gargantoonz appear, no matter how many Mega Symbols are present. Also, 2-4 Gargantoonz in size of 1×1 appear. Mega Gargantoonz are not removed with wins.
• Step 2 – The Mega Gargantoonz break down into 1×1 sized Gargantoonz, and these are removed together with wins.
