The Wizard of Oz – Ruby Slippers slot game has 30 paylines and is the 2nd Wizard of Oz themed slot to be produced by WMS. Like the first slot, it’s based on the very popular film we all grew up with. Base game: Ruby Slippers feature is randomly activated on certain conditions. Like the famous film, Ruby Slippers click twice together with the reels spinning and bubbles appear from around the screen and may turn any of reels 1 to 5 into a Wild Reel. Up to a maximum of 4 reels may turn into Wild Reels. Then the Ruby Slippers feature may award a multiplier of either 2x or 5x. If Glinda appears on the screen, the multiplier increases to 10x.
Special: 1, 2, or 3 feature triggering symbols scattered on reels 1-4 combined with any feature triggering symbol scattered on reel 5 award a Feature Respin. The Feature triggering symbols are held and feature reels replace the remaining reels and respin once. If at least 2 feature triggering symbols appear scattered on reels 1-4 after the respin, a feature is warded.
Find the Broom feature: Two or more feature triggering symbols scattered on reels 1-4 and scattered Witch symbol on reel 5 triggers the Find the Broom feature. Pick the Wizard of Oz tokens for awards. Uncovering the Wicked Witch without any Wicked Witch savers left ends the feature and awards one final pick to find a special symbol and get the Wicked Witch Treasure.
Wicked Witch Treasure monetary awards are 10x, 15x, 20x or 25x total bet. If only Wicked Witches are available and no Wicked Witch saver are left, you get the Clear All monetary award which is 50x total bet.
Crystal Ball feature: Two or more feature triggering symbols scattered on reels 1-4 and Crystal ball symbol scattered on reel 5 trigger the Crystal Ball feature. As each triggering character appears, a monetary award bangs up. The Wicked Witch symbol pauses the bang-up. Sometimes after all triggering symbols have appeared, Glinda appears for one more increase. The maximum payout on this feature is 200x the total bet.
Emerald City Freespin feature: Two or more feature triggering symbols scattered on reels 1-4 and a special symbol scattered on reel 5 trigger the Emeral City Freespin feature. During free spins, an alternate set of reels is used. No other feature can be triggered during the Emerald City Freespin feature. Emerald City Freespin feature awards 5 free spins but you can earn extra free spins, a wild reel, more wild symbols, and a multiplier ranging from 3x to 30x!
