Collecting Bird Symbols

Birds move around and collect feature symbols and gems of the same colour as the birds themselves. A Feature Award  triggers when enough symbols have been collected by the Birds during a game round. This means that 3 gems will turn into Feature Symbols when no additional symbols can be collected.

Feature Symbols

There are 6 different Feature Symbols; Wilds, Transform Symbols, Upgrade Symbols, Coins, Bombs, and Bonus Symbols.

* Wild – Substitutes for any gem symbols at their current respective win level.
* Transform Symbol – Turns a cluster of gems around it into the same colour as the Bird that collected it, or into a random number of feature symbols.
* Upgrade Symbol – Upgrades gems of the same colour as the Bird that collected them. The win level of the gems increases by 1 to 3 steps, up to a maximum of 5.
* Coins – Pays its value times the current bet.
* Bonus Symbol – Triggers the Bonus Mode with 5 Free Drops.
* Bombs – Collected Bomb explodes when there are no more wins in view and removes all symbols, except Feature Symbols, in close range of it. The explosion also expands the game grid, up to a maximum size of 8×8.

Free Drops

Collect 3 Bonus symbols to trigger the Bonus Game with 5 Free Drops. The feature starts on the current active number of rows and columns. The grid size, the symbols collection, and the win level of gems are persistent during Free Drops. Additional Free Drops are awarded when Birds collect 3 Bonus symbols to the meter.
