Welcome to Maurya Empire! Ashoka is a 6-reel, Scatter Pays online slot from ELK Studios based on the emperor Ashoka the Great. The game comes with Avalanche Feature, 3 different Wild symbols, Win Multipliers, Free Drops Bonus Game, and X-iter Modes.

Symbols on the reels include low-value card royals – J, Q, K, A, four different colour medium-value gems, and high-value white tigers. The game has three Wild symbols; Regular Wild,  Charged Wild, and Big Wild. Wilds substitute for all symbols except the Skull Bonus symbol.

Avalanche Feature

When a winning combination occurs, all winning symbols are removed from the grid. Any blocker symbols that are vertically adjacent to a winning symbol will also be removed, increasing the number of symbols in play. The grid then fills up with new symbols and the process repeats itself. The Avalanche feature will continue until there are no more new winning combinations.

Wild Symbols

The game comes with 3 different types of Wild symbols; a Regular Wild, a Big Wild, and a Charged Wild. All Wilds substitute for any regular paying symbols.

Regular Wild – Acts as a normal Wild symbol.

Big Wild – The Big Wild symbols payout is determined by the number of regular 1×1 Wild symbols they cover, where a 2×2 Wild symbol counts as 4 regular Wild symbols and a 3×3 Wild symbol counts as 9 regular Wild symbols.

Charged Wild – The Charged Wild symbol is a Wild symbol that can be used for up to 3 wins and is removed after the last win. In case of empty cells beneath a big symbol drop, the big symbol will replicate and fill the empty cells with regular 1×1 symbols of the same type as the big symbol.

Win Multipliers

When the Win Multiplier is active, it multiplies all winning combinations in view. The multiplier symbol activates the Win Multiplier, which adds value to the multiplier when there are winning combinations in view. The multiplier symbol is then removed along with the winning symbols.

There is also a Super Multiplier symbol that adds its value and activates the Win Multiplier when there are wins in view. The Super Multiplier symbol will reactivate for each Avalanche and remains on the reels until no more winning combinations appear.

Free Drops Bonus Game

You need to have 3 active Bonus symbols anywhere on the grid to trigger 10 Free Drops. If an inactive Bonus symbol is vertically adjacent to a winning symbol, it becomes an active Bonus symbol. Super Multiplier symbols remain active between Free Drops and when entering the Bonus Game. At the start of the feature, a new set of symbols fills the grid. The Bonus Game can be retriggered if you get 2 or 3 active Bonus symbols during the Free Drops, awarding 5 or 10 extra Free Drops, respectively.

X-iter Modes

Jump straight into the action with five different Game Modes ranging from 3x bet to 500x bet. You can purchase one of the features by pressing the X-iter button.

* Bonus Hunt | 3x the bet –  A game round with a higher chance to trigger the Bonus Game.
* Charged Wilds | 10x the bet – A game round with all Wild symbols as charged Wild symbols.
* Super Multiplier | 25x the bet – A game round with one guaranteed Super Multiplier symbol.
* Bonus | 100x the bet – Triggers the Bonus Game.
* Super Bonus | 500x the bet – Triggers the Super Bonus Game with a guaranteed Super Multiplier.
